Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• One year of experience operating equipment appropriate for this class.
• Valid New York State driver's license Class B or higher required.
• Position may be filled from a reemployment list if applicable.
• Candidates may need to be qualified to use negative pressure respirators.

Appointment contingent upon successful pre-employment drug testing mandated by OTETA. Employment cannot start until testing is complete. The university will conduct ongoing drug and alcohol testing during employment.

Operating Needs

Ability to operate backhoes, front-end loaders, skid steers, wing plows, street sweepers/storm sewer machines, and other vehicles used in campus maintenance. Ability to perform physical tasks, follow instructions, and work scheduled or unscheduled overtime, including shift changes for snow removal. Valid NYS Commercial Driver's License Class B or higher required.
