Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a hands-on Equipment Coordinator to support First Equipment Company operations on Detroit project sites. You will help ensure tools, fleet vehicles, and equipment are available, safe, and functional, while maintaining accurate records and data across ERP systems.

Key duties include coordinating equipment movements, performing basic inspections, and supporting maintenance scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited program or equivalent is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required with 2+ years of related experience.
• Familiar with safety practices related to material handling and equipment operations.
• Proficient computer skills and ERP/database tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support FEC equipment operations, including receiving, staging, and tracking tools and equipment.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment to and from project sites.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and minor maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and data entry in ERP systems.
• Support equipment scheduling and document routine maintenance and calibrations.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
