Job summary

Turner Construction Company, via the First Equipment Company division, seeks an operations leader to oversee equipment inventory, procurement, and lifecycle across multiple project sites.

Responsibilities include charge-out systems, vendor contracts, internal billing, scheduling maintenance, and reporting KPIs to stakeholders.

Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field with 8+ years in equipment or inventory leadership; strong logistics and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in equipment or inventory management, preferably in construction or rental industries.
• Experience leading logistics or field support teams and coordinating delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage equipment inventory, logistics, and lifecycle across multiple sites.
• Implement and administer equipment charge-out systems and rental programs.
• Source vendors, negotiate contracts, and procure tools and equipment at scale.
• Coordinate delivery/pickup of equipment and manage staging, inspections, and movement between sites.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance scheduling to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
• Track equipment utilization and KPI reporting; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain records of transactions, maintenance logs, and inventory data using ERP systems.
