Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Construction Engineering Manager to oversee projects from initiation to completion. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, manage schedules, and ensure design specifications are met, using AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.

The role emphasizes lean practices, PLC knowledge, and programming in Python, C, and C++ to automate project management tasks and support construction operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in construction engineering or similar role desirable.
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project scheduling tools essential.
• Strong understanding of mechanical knowledge, system design, GD&T, and electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction tasks.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation for creating detailed design schematics and plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems engineering principles into construction projects.

• Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize project efficiency and reduce waste.

• Perform maintenance checks on equipment used in construction to ensure operational efficiency.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python, C, and C++ for automation tasks related to project management.
• Conduct debugging of systems and provide technical support during the construction phase.
