The successful candidate will work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety of automated equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, or manufacturing.
• Strong PLC programming knowledge: Siemens (TIA Portal), Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Mitsubishi/Omron or similar.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and support.
• Understanding of Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, Profibus; ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and commission industrial control systems for manufacturing equipment and lines.
• Develop and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial network systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, instrumentation, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance for automation systems.
• Modify and improve control systems to boost performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and project teams on improvements.
• Produce electrical schematics, control documentation, I/O lists, and manuals.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Support FAT/SAT activities and equipment installation.
• Evaluate and implement new automation technologies.
• Provide technical training and support to maintenance and production.
• Participate in capital projects from concept through startup.
