Job summary

TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Student Intern to support construction and engineering projects in Ohio.

The role offers hands-on exposure to site observation, cost estimating, project coordination and documentation while working with engineers, planners and project professionals. You will gain practical experience in active construction environments, learn project execution processes and contribute to safe, reliable energy delivery across North America.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Engineering or Construction program (current student).
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies after the work term.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the term.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction site visits, observations and inspections to support project execution.
• Support project requirement assessments, progress monitoring and safety/quality control activities.
• Collaborate with planners, project coordinators and engineers on ongoing projects.
• Participate in professional development sessions, leadership exposure opportunities and end-of-program presentations.
• Assist with project cost estimating, subcontractor bid solicitation and bid analysis activities.
• Perform material quantity takeoffs and review contractor cost proposals.
• Prepare progress reports, change orders, RFIs and other project documentation.
• Conduct research on construction methods, materials and industry practices.
