Job summary

TC Energy Corp. invites applications for a Student Intern position for May–August 2027 to support construction and engineering activities. You will observe site operations, assist with inspections and collaborate with engineers, planners and project teams to ensure quality and safety.

You will gain hands-on experience in cost estimating, material takeoffs and documentation while working within a hybrid model that supports career development and flexibility across North America.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering degree program focused on Construction.
• Completion of at least one academic term before May 2027 start.
• Returning to full-time studies after the work term.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) during term.

Responsibilities

• Visit construction sites to observe operations and assist with inspections.
• Support assessment of project requirements and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with planners, coordinators and engineers on execution activities.
• Participate in professional development sessions and teamwork.
• Assist with project cost estimating, bid solicitation and evaluation.
• Perform material quantity takeoffs and review cost proposals.
• Prepare progress reports, change orders, RFIs and other docs.
• Research construction methods and industry practices.
