Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering student interns for our Seattle, WA office to support pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis on multiple projects. This is not a remote role, and you will gain hands-on experience with regulatory frameworks and client-focused project delivery.

Interns will work with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS and related tools while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help shape the built

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
• Majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
• Engineering Technology degree also considered.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
• Contribute to pre-construction design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, and GIS.
• Familiarize with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
