Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students to join our Charleston, South Carolina office. This is not a remote position and provides hands-on exposure to civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis on diverse projects.

Interns will learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS, and more while contributing to client deliverables and project coordination.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in progress (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Pursuing Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
• Interest in civil engineering software and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Use technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design and permitting.
• Solve problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Learn program-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS.
