Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Savannah, GA office is seeking engineering students for an on-site internship. You will contribute to civil/environmental design, planning, permitting, and multi-project analysis while learning from seasoned professionals.

Interns will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS, and will learn regulatory practices and company standards to deliver client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Majors include Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural, or Engineering Technology.
• Enrollment in a degree program and ability to work in Savannah, GA.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Assist in pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment.
• Learn federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
• Learn and apply software programs: AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
