Job summary

Bowman in Lisle, Illinois seeks a CEG Intern for summer 2027 to gain practical construction project management experience. You will work under supervision, support change orders, submittals, RFIs, and daily project reports while learning from seasoned professionals on active projects.

This internship welcomes motivated students; you will interact with multiple departments, develop professional skills, and contribute to project quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in engineering, construction, project management, or related field.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures and clearly defined processes.
• Interact with multiple departments and peers within the organization and participate in intern program learning and development opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of change orders and contracts.
• Assist in project submittals, RFI's and punch list management.
• Assist in construction engineering monitoring of the project.
• Prepare daily reports.
