Job summary

TMG Construction Corporation in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Construction Engineer II - Civil to support project management and field operations on commercial and institutional construction projects. This developmental role offers hands-on exposure to estimating, scheduling, shop drawings, RFIs, and documentation.

You will collaborate with project teams, review submittals, assist with change management, develop project controls, and help ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management; 2–3 years of experience with commercial/industrial contractor, or 5 years without degree.
• Solid understanding of construction methods for commercial/institutional buildings and site work.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Support project management and field operations across life-cycle stages including estimating and closeout.
• Create and maintain project controls tracking changes, RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, quality, safety, and financials.
• Assist in change management, pricing, and proposal development; prepare project schedules and coordinate layout.
