TMG Construction Corp is seeking an entry-level Construction Engineer I to support project management and field operations on commercial and institutional projects. The role develops construction knowledge and management skills and provides a path toward higher responsibility within TMG.

You will assist with estimating, scheduling, shop drawings, RFIs, document control, change orders, and coordination across disciplines, while visiting multiple job sites in the designated area.

Formación

• B.S. degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 0–1 years of experience, or 3 years of directly related experience.
• Solid understanding of construction means and methods for renovations of commercial/institutional buildings.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and email; able to use standard construction software.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move around job sites.
• Clean driving record to facilitate materials transport.
• Credentials: EIT orAC; OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR; USACE/NAVFAC CQC certification.

Responsabilidades

• Support Project Manager, Superintendent, or other management roles across project life cycles.
• Create/update project controls tracking status, changes, RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Process shop drawings with subject matter experts and coordinate submittals.
• Support change management: logs, pricing, estimates, change orders.
• Perform quantity surveys using digitizers, 3D modeling, and paper-based methods.
• Develop and monitor project schedules using scheduling software.
• Assist with layout, CAD drawings, and ensuring proper fit of elements.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and purchase orders.
• Produce reports using Project Center and other workflows.
• Identify potential issues early and propose solutions.
• Understand and enforce contract terms and applicable regulations.
