Job summary

TMG Construction Corp seeks a Construction Engineer I to assist Project Management and Field Operations on commercial and institutional projects. This developmental role offers exposure to estimating, scheduling, shop drawings, RFIs, document control, and change management.

The position requires a base understanding of civil or mechanical disciplines, proficiency with basic software tools, and the ability to travel to multiple job sites within the region.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 0-1 years of experience or 3 years of directly related experience without a degree.
• Basic understanding of construction means and methods for renovation of commercial/institutional buildings and site work.
• Solid proficiency with spreadsheets, Email, and construction software tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager, Superintendent, or other management roles through all project phases including estimating, contracting, buyout, administration, and closeout.
• Create, update, and maintain project controls tracking status, changes, RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, quality, safety, and financial performance.
• Process shop drawings with SMEs; participate in change management, pricing, proposals, and change orders.
