Job summary

TMG Construction Corp is seeking a Construction Engineer I to assist project management and field operations on commercial and institutional construction projects.

This developmental role provides the opportunity to learn the construction process and develop management skills for advancement within TMG, while supporting estimating, scheduling, shop drawings, RFIs, and change management across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of civil, architectural, mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use estimating, scheduling, and reporting software.
• Ability to travel to different job sites within a designated geographical area.
• Experience with project controls and documentation management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager, Superintendent, or other managers across all project phases.
• Create, update, and maintain project controls tracking RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, changes, and quality/safety metrics.
• Collaborate with SMEs to review shop drawings and submittals.
• Assist with change management, including logs, pricing, estimates, and proposals.
