Qualifications

• NICET certified Transportation Engineering Technician Construction, Level II or higher with 2+ years bridge/highway experience.
• Engineer-in-Training with 2+ years bridge/highway experience.
• Experience on high-speed roadways and MPT familiarity.
• Experience with NJ DOT, NJ Transit, NYS DOT or similar agency.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, data entry and scheduling software.
• Preferred: ACI Certification, TCC, OSHA 30, NJ SAT.
• Client-focused with a drive to deliver the best solutions.
• Collaborative, diverse, and inclusive team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract documentation duties, including field measurements and daily inspection reports.
• Coordinate activities with onsite inspectors and inform Resident Engineer of progress and problems.
• Provide technical supervision and assistance to the Resident Engineer.
• Observe and document nonconformance and change management events.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
