Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Construction Engineer to oversee fiber optic network construction projects from concept through completion in Albuquerque, NM. You will lead end-to-end deployment, manage contractors, and coordinate permitting and field activities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fiber/OSP deployment, strong coordination and communication skills, and a solid understanding of infrastructure standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in OSP fiber construction or network deployment.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic network infrastructure.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and construction activities.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground fiber deployment practices.
• Understanding of permitting, right-of-way, and construction processes.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and project scheduling tools.
