Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead the design, development and deployment of EHS programs across a defined area, collaborating with GDC partners, general contractors, electrical/mechanical trades and key integrators to improve EHS performance on projects.

You will participate in pre-qualification evaluations, update the project manual, communicate EHS expectations, and track performance metrics while supporting on-time delivery for a live data center portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience working in construction with a focus on safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Experience in safety metrics reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and ownership of the EHS program for area construction oversight and data collection.
• Ensure that contractors deliver on Program safety performance expectations and agreement requirements providing timely solutions to issues.
• Monitor, advise and assist the construction project teams to protect people, environment and ensure compliance.
• Drive a culture that embraces a continuous learning approach and aligns with organizational strategies including goals and objectives.
• Liaise with the wider Construction EHS team to ensure best practices are fully and completely implemented, progress reported, trends and data captured, analyzed and risks mitigated to an acceptable level ensuring that the operational capacity of a live Data Center is not compromised.
