Job summary

JP Donovan Construction seeks an Environmental Safety & Health Manager to develop and monitor site safety programs, advise on environmental, health and safety concerns, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company regulations. The role acts as an in-house advisor and develops policies for a safe workplace across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, risk management, safety engineering or related field preferred.
OSHA 500 certification preferred.
Education/training in Occupational Safety & Health.
CPR, First Aid, AED Trainer certified preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the safety and training programs.
Inspect job sites to ensure safe work environments.
Lead Safety Committee meetings and coordinate safety reviews.
Maintain Safety Manual/Policies and safety gear inventories.
Ensure OSHA/DOT safety compliance across projects.
Investigate injuries, incidents and perform root-cause analyses.
