Job summary

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to implement and manage health and safety practices on our heavy industrial construction projects in the United States.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct training, inspections, and root-cause investigations in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of heavy industrial construction field safety experience.
• OSHA 30 mandatory; OSHA 500/510 preferred.
• BCSP certifications preferred or comparable experience in the field.
• Strong working knowledge of PPE, JHA/JSA development and compliance monitoring.
• Current First/ CPR/ AED certification.
• Strong office & communication skills - will work with various individuals of site management/oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the technical facilitation of the Project EH&S Program.
• Provide project management, supervisory or craft safety training, onboarding/new hire safety orientation, or other job/task-specific EH&S related training, as necessary to ensure compliance with the site EH&S Program requirements, against a given contractor scope of work.
• Coordinate and conduct routine/scheduled safety meetings with relevant site/facility topical information, comprehensive agendas, captured minutes/actions, and accurate attendance records.
• Conduct daily informal site EH&S general site assessments or specific formal audit-type inspections while capturing and maintaining the appropriate written finding and close-out documentation.
• Conduct site safety/health, property or process loss, Root-Cause style investigations along with the necessary customer or company required reports.
