Job summary

Consertus is seeking an EHS Construction Coordinator to ensure project compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the lifecycle. You will work with project managers and site supervisors to implement and oversee EHS protocols, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS management or coordination experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
• Relevant certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific environmental, health, and safety plans in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure EHS compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams to address EHS concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Provide EHS training and guidance to project staff and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders on EHS matters.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to continuously improve EHS performance.
