Job summary

ARCO Design/Build invites motivated students to join our Construction Design/Build Project Manager Intern/Co-op program in Salt Lake City. You will gain exposure to a full lifecycle of projects, working alongside experienced professionals committed to your growth and success.

You’ll participate in estimating, scheduling, design meetings, reporting, and site visits while building industry relationships and professional development through mentorship and trainings.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited undergraduate or graduate program as listed.
• Driver’s License.
• Excellent verbal communication and detail orientation.
• Previous co-op or intern experience in construction preferred, but not required
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Concept to Completion: observe from concept through final delivery.
• Estimating and Takeoffs: learn to describe proposals and assign values.
• Scheduling: assist in creating timelines for subcontractors and trades.
• Design Meetings: attend meetings with owner and design team.
• Reporting: prepare weekly reports and track action items.
• Shadowing: observe Design/Build Managers in project calls and site visits.
• Buyout: assist with subcontracts, bids, and awards to subs.
• Shop Drawing & Submittal Review: routing and approvals.
