CORE Consulting Group, Inc. is hiring a Construction Defect Project Manager to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex construction defects. The role focuses on producing expert technical reports and coordinating with attorneys and clients across the Western U.S.

Bring 10+ years in construction with a strong background in architecture, contracting, or engineering and advanced estimating experience. The position offers a competitive salary range and year-end bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Background as Architect, General Contractor, Roofing Contractor, Structural Engineer, or Estimator.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• 8+ years of hands-on estimating experience (required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• College degree and professional licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft detailed technical reports based on investigations and document analysis.
• Review forensic reports, architectural plans, building codes and construction documents.
• Conduct data entry, estimate damages, and develop cost reports.
• Perform on-site investigations of residential and commercial construction projects.
• Inspect structural components, roofing, waterproofing, and building envelopes.
• Take digital photographs and record findings during inspections.
• Travel locally and regionally to project sites and client offices.
