Job summary

Amazon seeks an experienced Civil/Environmental/Structural Engineer to lead Scope 3 building materials work and carbon tracking across project lifecycles. You will collaborate with design, construction, procurement and sustainability teams to decarbonize Ops buildings and drive strategic program deployment on site.

The role requires travel up to 50% and a background in large-scale infrastructure or building systems, with strong analytical skills in MAC, NPV and payback analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Experience as Architect/Engineer/Construction Manager or similar roles in commercial development.
• Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify mechanisms to track carbon across project life-cycle.
• Understand design and construction of mass timber, concrete and steel structures.
• Conduct scope 3 material takeoffs, MAC, NPV and simple payback analyses.
• Coordinate with design, construction and sustainability teams to align goals.
