Job summary

Green Shield Deck Builders in Michigan is hiring a Crew Leader for a three-person team. This is a W-2, year-round, full-time role with a competitive $26–30/hour pay, commensurate with experience, and a company vehicle.

You will oversee daily job-site execution, mentor crew members, perform framing and decking tasks, travel to sites daily within a 150-mile radius, and ensure safety and quality while growing into senior leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Reliable personal vehicle (required).
• Willingness and ability to travel to residential build sites daily (required) 150 mile radius.
• At least 3 years of experience in residential construction, landscaping, or general labor.
• At least 1 year of carpentry and framing experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership or management experience.
• Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday (with occasional overtime).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout the day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality residential decks from start to finish.
• Execute advanced construction tasks (framing, measuring, cutting, assembly).
