Job summary

Green Shield Deck Builders in Michigan is seeking a Crew Leader to oversee a 3-person crew, supervise day-to-day build activities, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance on residential deck projects.

This is a full-time, year-round W-2 position with a company vehicle stipend, competitive hourly pay ($26–$30) based on experience, and clear progression into Crew Lead and higher roles. Daily travel to residential sites is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Reliable personal vehicle (required).
• Willingness and ability to travel to residential build sites daily (required) 150 mile radius.
• At least 3 years of experience in residential construction, landscaping, or general labor.
• At least 1 year of carpentry and framing experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership or management experience.
• Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday (with occasional overtime).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout the day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced construction tasks (framing, measuring, cutting, assembly).
