Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an Assistant Credit Manager to support the Credit Manager in credit and collections for heavy civil construction, aggregates, asphalt, and related materials operations. This role helps manage customer credit risk, lien and bond rights, disputes, and trade receivables to support working capital and cash flow.

Work closely with operations, sales, accounting, and project managers to enforce sound credit practices while enabling profitable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business admin, or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years in credit, collections, AR, or financial analysis.
• Experience in heavy civil construction or construction materials preferred.
• Experience with liens, bond claims, and project-based billing preferred.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit and collections operations for assigned units.
• Assess customer creditworthiness via financial statements, reports, and trends.
• Set and monitor credit limits and payment terms.
• Support collections to improve cash flow and reduce overdue accounts.
• Prepare credit reports and DSO analyses.
• Coordinate with legal, operations, and sales on disputes and claims.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.
• Assist with process improvements in credit practices.
