Qualifications

• 3 years of progressive recruitment experience in construction or related industry preferred.
• Aware of all labor-agreement and government legislation, and PCL policies.
• Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruitment process.
• Intermediate knowledge of local and regional apprenticeship and labor programs.
• Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Screens résumés and conducts interviews for available job opportunities, maintaining a pipeline of potential workers.
• Sources candidates through multiple channels to improve quality and fill hard-to-fill roles.
• Maintains contact with labor pool to recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates.
• Develops and analyzes recruitment metrics to improve processes and outcomes.
• Confirms technical qualifications with apprenticeship boards and collects documentation.
• Collaborates with workforce manager to review project demands and plan needs.
