Responsibilities

• Screen résumés and interview candidates; maintain a current pipeline.
• Actively source candidates via multiple channels to improve quality.
• Maintain contact with labor pool to recruit, interview and hire best-qualified candidates.
• Create, implement, and analyze recruitment metrics to improve processes.
• Confirm technical qualifications with apprenticeship and labor boards; collect documents.
• Collect and file workforce documentation confidentially per policy.
• Collaborate with workforce manager to review project demands and planning.
• Explain compensation structure and benefits to new hires.
• Interpret collective agreements and site guidelines for hiring practices.
• Assist with training and coaching new craft recruiters.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
