Job summary

Catamount Constructors, a 100% employee-owned general contractor with a national reach, seeks a Corporate Counsel to support its operations. The role focuses on drafting, negotiating prime contracts, MSAs/PSAs, dispute resolution, and day-to-day legal advisory services for executives and regional teams.

You will lead contract lifecycle management, advise on risk and compliance, assist with corporate transactions, and help standardize practices while building trusted relationships across the

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state; Colorado preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience; construction/AE&C experience preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts (AIA, ConsensusDocs).
• Familiarity with corporate governance and HR/employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate prime contracts with project owners (AIA, ConsensusDocs, custom).
• Manage contract lifecycle from draft to execution and fulfillment; advise on terms and risk.
• Negotiate MSAs, PSAs, and purchase orders; review scope-of-work provisions and flow-downs.
• Handle disputes, including settlements and coordination with outside counsel.
• Advise executives on risk, compliance, and day-to-day legal matters; support corporate transactions.
