Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an Intermediate Cost Engineer to support a major capital program in Monaca, PA. You will deliver cost reporting, forecasting, change management and risk/opportunity insights in a client-facing role.

The role emphasizes preparing monthly cost reports, budgets, CBS/WBS development, and integration with project teams to drive informed decisions across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in cost engineering or project controls.
• Experience supporting large capital projects.
• Knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting, change management.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and risks.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP/EcoSys/Primavera preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly cost reports and forecasts.
• Analyze project cost data to identify variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Support budgets, CBS and WBS development.
• Maintain change management processes and trend tracking.
• Track commitments, expenditures, accruals, and contingency usage.
• Assist with forecast-to-complete analysis and cash flow reporting.
• Prepare and review project controls dashboards and metrics.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors.
• Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain project controls documentation in line with procedures.
• Support benchmarking and lessons learned initiatives.
