Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Engineer to support large-scale capital construction, renovation, workplace, laboratory, and industrial projects. This role will serve as a key client-facing resource, providing cost management, commercial oversight, and project controls support throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field.
• 5-7 years of cost engineering or project controls experience.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects.
• RICS accreditation or progress toward certification preferred.
• Proficiency in cost software like SAP and EcoSys.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate change orders and support commercial management throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets, presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Reconcile project cost changes and review contractor pricing for accuracy.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather status and prepare cost reports and forecasts.
• Develop cost plans and estimates through design and construction phases, updating at milestones.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
