Job summary

Frontier-Kemper, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Cost Accounting Clerk for the Manhattan Tunnel Project in New York, NY. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of administrative or accounting support experience, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Time and Material (T/M) processes and job cost tracking.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and payroll functions.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy; strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CMiC/Viewpoint/JD Edwards or similar construction software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect and manage Time and Material tickets from field personnel.
• Assist field teams in identifying work requiring T/M documentation and verify ticket accuracy.
• Coordinate with project managers and accounting staff to ensure timely T/M processing.
• Assist with invoice tracking, coding, and processing; match invoices with T/M docs and PO approvals.
• Maintain organized filing systems for T/M tickets and AP records; support office administration.
• Gather and submit environmental compliance data as required by the project or client.
