Financial Additions is seeking a Construction Cost Accountant for a growing Real Estate Development company, located in Bedford/Hurst. The role focuses on managing construction job costing, budgets, draw support, and financial analysis across multiple projects in an office setting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a construction environment, with strong WIP reporting and understanding of subcontractor agreements.

Qualifications

• Cost Accountant background should include: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years cost accounting in a construction environment.
• WIP Reporting Experience.
• Understanding of construction contracts and subcontractor agreements.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger – Reconciliations, journal entries, month-end cost accounting close.
• Allocate invoices to projects.
• Monitor budget to actual.
• Assist with forecasting on projects and variance analysis.
• Prepare lender draw requests and track draw status.
• WIP reporting and cash flow reporting.
• May wear other hats as needed.
