Job summary

Moltus Building Group is seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee accounting operations, drive financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. You will partner with the CFO to shape financial strategy and improve processes to support growth.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, several years in a supervisory role, and strong proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. Construction-industry experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Several years of accounting experience including supervisory leadership; construction industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and job cost accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel; able to improve processes and automate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff and workflows.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes with accurate statements.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain financial controls for credit and expense programs.
• Liaise with banks, bonding companies, and external CPAs.
