Job summary

CFS in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP-driven process improvements. The role partners with executive leadership to manage month-end close, audits, and asset accounting, while strengthening controls and reporting across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of construction accounting, strong WIP and job costing knowledge, and ERP implementation experience. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience in construction.
• Strong WIP, percentage-of-completion, and job costing knowledge.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• ERP implementation or system conversion experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end, year-end, and audit activities.
• Direct WIP reporting, job costing, and retainage accounting.
• Oversee fixed assets and equipment accounting.
• Drive process improvements and ERP initiatives.
• Strengthen internal controls and reporting processes.
