Jobot is seeking a Controller to lead financial operations for a Wilmington, MA construction-focused organization. You will own month-end close, job costing, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls while guiding the finance team and partnering with project managers and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in construction accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on ERP experience. This on-site role offers growth and influence across multiple projects and teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience at controller/Accounting Manager level.
• Construction industry experience or project-based environment.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience with construction ERP software and Excel mastery.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee month-end and year-end close with GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Monitor job costing, project budgets, and overall project profitability.
• Manage WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee cash flow, AR/AP, billing, and retainage.
• Lead accounting team and collaborate with project managers and executives.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
