Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, construction exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of percentage-of-completion, cost allocations, and internal controls.
• Experience with real estate accounting, tax, and external audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project accounting and ensure accurate job costing per project.
• Prepare and review WIP schedules using percentage-of-completion method.
• Manage lien, waiver, and certificate compliance prior to payments.
• Support month-end/year-end close and consolidate financial statements.
• Handle construction billing (including AIA) and loan draws.
• Assist external auditors and sales tax filings.
• Supervise AP, AR, and payroll teams in daily operations.
