The role partners with the COO to ensure accuracy, profitability, and strategic decision support, with deep knowledge of construction accounting, WIP, job costing, and revenue recognition.

This position leads a small team and requires 7–10 years of experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 7–10 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting and GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Partner with COO to maximize profitability and support decisions.
• Manage payroll, union reporting, and tax filings.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations.
• Monitor WIP, job costing, and revenue recognition.
