Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument preserves the northern-most natural habitat of the Organ Pipe Cactus, as well as amazing examples of desert plants, animals, geology, and human history. This 330,000 acre monument was set aside in 1937 to preserve a pristine example of Sonoran Desert.

This position serves as a Construction Control Representative at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. The primary purpose of this position is to perform work involving the management and control of a variety of substantive and complex construction and repair/rehabilitaton projects. The incumbent represents the NPS and works within a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, conservators, preservation specialists, historians, environmental specialists, natural resource specialists, and technical support personnel to plan, execute, monitor, and track the completion of park projects.
