You will collaborate with engineers, historians, and preservation specialists within a multidisciplinary team, bringing a BA/BS in civil engineering or related field and 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of technical engineering and construction control concepts for planning, execution, monitoring and control of projects.
• Ability to provide advisory and technical services on substantive projects within the National Park Service.
• Experience with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• On-site inspection and coordination of construction and engineering work to ensure conformance to plans and specs.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions with designers and contract admins.
• Analyze costs, track schedules, and manage contract modifications and change orders.
• Support planning, coordination with contractors, and accessibility/historic-structure considerations.
