Job summary

Bauer Foundation Corp. in Florida seeks an experienced Contracts Specialist to review construction and procurement contracts, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies. You will interact with internal and external legal teams, consultants, and project stakeholders to inform executive decisions.

The role requires 5–7 years in contract review and negotiations, a related degree, and strong communication, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps for reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment in construction.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex contracts.
• Experience identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Strong written and oral communication for executives and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 apps (Power BI, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze construction contracts, equipment and material supply agreements, and subcontracts.
• Identify contractual and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support contract negotiations with risk-based recommendations.
• Liaise with legal teams, consultants, and counterparties to clarify terms.
• Prepare briefing documents and presentations for senior management.
• Assist VP of Contracts & Risk with strategic planning and initiatives.
