Job summary

BAUER Foundation Corp. (BFC), the U.S. subsidiary of Bauer Group, seeks a Contracts Specialist in Odessa, FL.

You will review and analyze construction and procurement contracts, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies while interfacing with internal/external legal teams and project stakeholders. The role reports to the Vice President of Contracts and Risk, with a 8 AM to 5 PM schedule, and requires 5–7 years in contract review and negotiation within construction or infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree, PMP certification, or equivalent experience in contract management or risk analysis is a plus.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and provide analysis on construction contracts, equipment and material supply agreements, and subcontractor agreements.
• Identify contractual and operational risks and develop clear, structured risk analyses and mitigation strategies.
• Support contract negotiations by identifying key commercial and legal exposures and providing risk-based recommendations.
• Act as a liaison with legal teams, consultants, and counterparties to ensure contract terms are well understood and risks are appropriately managed.
• Prepare briefing documents, summaries, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key contractual and risk-related findings.
• Provide direct support to the Vice President of Contracts & Risk, contributing to strategic planning, decision-making, and departmental initiatives.
