Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Legal Counsel to collaborate with project managers, in‑house counsel, executives, and external counsel on contracts, disputes and risk management.

The role focuses on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating construction contracts, including EPC, subcontracts, purchase orders, NDAs and JV agreements, with opportunities to handle Civil Litigation, Labor & Employment, and SEC matters. The position is on-site at the Thornton, Colorado office, offering a comprehensive

Qualifications

• 3 to 7+ years of construction law experience.
• Active state bar admission and ability to become licensed in Colorado within 6 months.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a business-focused approach.
• Strong negotiation and risk assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support in all aspects of construction law.
• Review, draft, and negotiate construction contracts with clients, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
• Draft documentation and provide legal support for disputes involving construction projects.
• Ensure proper organization and timely completion of relevant project documents.
• Respond promptly and accurately to internal and external inquiries.
