Job summary

The Rogan Group, Inc. is recruiting Senior Corporate Counsel for a top national construction company based in NoVA. This in-office role places you close to project leadership, negotiating high-stakes contracts and shaping risk-sharing terms on major jobs.

You will advise and train non-lawyers while partnering with project teams to keep pursuits and work within risk tolerance. The ideal attorney has a JD, an active bar license, and roughly five to seven years of transactional law experience,

Qualifications

• Active bar license and a JD.
• Approximately five to seven plus years practicing transactional law.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead on negotiating the company’s major contracts, from ownership/developer agreements to subcontractor and design-related agreements.
• Balance landing the job with the company’s risk tolerance on key terms.
• Serve as a day-to-day sounding board for project managers and superintendents during work.
• Run training sessions to help non-lawyers spot contract issues.
