Jobot is seeking a senior Construction Attorney for our New York office to counsel architects, engineers, and other design professionals. This is a transactional and advisory role—not a litigation seat—for an experienced lawyer who wants to own client relationships with full firm support behind them.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in construction and design-professional work.
• Admission to the New York bar and good standing.
• A portable book of business is a significant plus and will be reflected in compensation.

Responsibilities

• Represent architects, engineers, and design professionals across the lifecycle of construction projects.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on design and construction contracts, including AIA and custom agreements.
• Counsel clients on risk management, licensing, project structuring, and day-to-day legal questions.
• Serve as a trusted, ongoing advisor rather than a matter-by-matter resource.
