Job summary

Crowder Construction Company is seeking a Contract Coordinator to support subcontract and purchase order processes, and assist with company licensing. This role interacts with project teams to ensure contract requirements and licensing needs are met.

You will verify bonds, coordinate with licensing boards, maintain license lists, and support internal qualification processes while upholding Crowder’s standards of ethics and accuracy in all documentation.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required.
• 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with contract terms.
• Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Use discretion and keep sensitive information confidential.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain high level of professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Understand subcontract documents and terms and purchase order documents and terms.
• Review revisions to subcontract terms and purchase order terms and compare to previous revisions.
• Draft revisions to standard subcontract terms and purchase order terms.
• Review owner contract requirements to ensure compliance with project requirements applicable to subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Verify bonds are in place for subcontracts as required.
• Assist with company contractor license applications, revisions and renewals.
• Maintain company license lists.
• Interact with various state licensing boards to ensure compliance with contracting license requirements in states where company works.
• Coordinate with Subcontract Coordinator to ensure all active subcontractors in company's system have been properly approved through the internal qualification process.
• Work as a Corporate Services team member to complete projects as needed.
