Job summary

Aperture LLC is seeking a Construction Claim Consultant in Denver to perform detailed schedule and cost analyses for construction claims. You will review changes, delays, and disruptions, and draft expert reports under guidance from managing consultants.

You will work with attorneys and clients to gather data, develop claims, and provide pre-trial advice, including deposition and trial testimony when required. A strong analytical skill set is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
  • EIT or PE preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years’ construction industry experience.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, Asta, MS Project).
  • Ability to perform Time Impact, contemporaneous analysis, and as-planned vs as-built analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed schedule and cost analyses for construction claims.
  • Review change orders and disruption impacts on schedules and costs.
  • Prepare expert reports, with deposition and trial testimony support as needed.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients to gather data and develop claims.
  • Develop claims and expert reports under direction of Managing Consultants.

You will perform schedule analysis, change order review, cost estimating, damages analysis, and report writing.
