Job summary

WKM Solutions in Baltimore, MD seeks a Construction Compliance and Safety Manager to lead safety and regulatory compliance across our construction projects. You will develop programs, conduct audits, and work with site teams and regulators to ensure safe, compliant project execution.

The role requires strong detail orientation, proactive leadership, and effective communication to drive a culture of safety. Experience with OSHA standards and Procore is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, occupational health & safety, or related field.
• 5+ years in construction safety and compliance management.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, codes, and local safety requirements.
• OSHA 30-Hour, CHST, or CSP preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in safety software, MS Office, and project tools including Procore.
• Ability to lead audits, trainings, and drive safe work practices.
• Strong risk management with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Compliance Oversight: ensure adherence to construction laws, permits, codes.
• Safety Management: develop and update safety programs and procedures.
• Audits & Inspections: conduct regular site inspections and corrective actions.
• Documentation: maintain records and submit reports to regulators and stakeholders.
• Training & Development: run trainings for employees and subs; stay current on regs.
• Reporting: monitor KPIs and provide updates to senior management.
