Job summary

Marin County Construction Client is seeking a Compliance Administrator to partner with the Risk Manager in Marin County, CA. You will manage insurance certificates, fleet records, and safety documentation, working with multiple departments and coordinating with brokers.

This role involves office work with occasional field-site visits and industry events. You will maintain accuracy, chase renewals, and support annual insurance renewals, OSHA logs, and audits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in risk management, insurance, or compliance or a bachelor's degree in occupational safety, risk management, business, or a similar field.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort across Microsoft Office.
• A sharp eye for detail and the discipline to double-check your work.
• Confident, professional communication with internal teams, insurers, and regulators.
• Self-direction: you can juggle a heavy workload and set your own priorities.
• Integrity and a team-first attitude.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain insurance, fleet, and safety records to stay compliant with contracts and regulations.
• Track subcontractor and vendor certificates of insurance; flag gaps and expirations.
• Coordinate with brokers to send certificates and align coverage with contract requirements.
• Oversee vehicle and equipment registrations and DMV Employer Pull Notice (EPN) program.
• Assist in incident investigations and OSHA logs; support audits and litigation data gathering.
• Prepare for insurance renewals and quarterly workers' compensation claim reviews.
• Organize department records and support special projects as the risk department grows.
